We’re excited today to announce the new Trulia MLS Advisory Board! The board will work closely with Trulia to ensure that company offerings and policies continue to meet the unique marketing needs of MLS’s and their broker members. The Trulia MLS Advisory Board will also play a key role as an advocate for accurate and effective representation of MLS listings across real estate search sites.
Following their inaugural meeting, the Trulia MLS Advisory Board has produced an overview of listing syndication basics and recommendations for MLS’s looking to expand their online marketing programs. The document, “A Resource Guide for MLS Listing Syndication,” is full of great information and suggestions for online syndication for MLS’s, and is available for free download at: www.trulia.com/MLSsyndication
The Trulia MLS Advisory Board includes some of the most respected and forward-thinking executives in the industry, including: Russ Bergeron (CEO, SoCal MLS); David Charron (CEO, MRIS); Kathy Condon (CEO, MLSPIN); Carl DeMusz (CEO, NORMLS); Bud Fogel (CEO, MRED); Lloyd Graves (President, RealAlliance Consulting, LLC); Jim Harrison, CEO (MLSListings, Inc); as well as Trulia representatives Sami Inkinen (COO, Trulia.com) and Mark Weiss (Director of Business Development, Trulia.com).

This could be a very good thing for both Trulia as well as other sites in the industry.
Wish everyone the best of luck.

How ironic that this post is released the very day that Trulia disappears from the giant Google search engines across most of the nation. Perhaps those MLS bigshots you just mentioned will now begin to understand how tenuous a relationship can be when so many eggs are placed in one basket. Without search engine placement Trulia is just - out of business.
There is no substitute for supporting the Realtors in your MLS systems.

Wow. This seems weird that Trulia would be getting into the business of something that seems to be ‘not’ their business.

Laurie,
Can you explain what you are talking about with Trulia disappearing from Google? Have not heard about that.

Maureen,
Search any city/state major keywords, Trulia is not findable.

@Laurie @Maureen - We’re looking into it and have submitted an inquiry via Google Webmaster tools. Looking forward to hearing back from Google. Will keep everyone in the loop!
