I was admiring the new launch of Zillow’s Q&A, and something came to me… Am I seeing a trend?
First there was realself.com
Rich Barton is an investor in realself.com, haven’t I seen him somewhere before? And that design looks mighty familiar…
Trulia Voices–That’s hot. Are we seeing the same trend with Zillow Advice? Hmmm….
You decide. As far as I’m concerned, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. ![]()

LOL!!! I feel like I’m watching John Travolta in Michael yelling Battle! gleefully while approaching the Bull.

I don’t know about the advice vs. answers comparison…but the RealSelf.com design is a total rip-off.

Or take a look at Avvo’s q&a (Barton is on the board): http://www.avvo.com/free-legal-advice. They’ve even got similar ribbons for top contributors.

And Trulia hearts Yahoo Answers
The Voices design looks mighty familiar:
YahooAnswers: ask answer discover (lower case green)
TruliaVoices: ask share discover (also lower case green)
