Triple Play 2008 in Atlantic City, New Jersey – This week, Trulia was at the 2008 Real Estate Triple Play conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The annual event draws thousands of local agents from the Tri-State area including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
My colleague Apurva Sanghavi and I represented Trulia at the show. We had an amazing time meeting with numerous real estate agents, real estate brokers and vendors who currently use Trulia and with many who were just learning about or getting started with Trulia. Very exciting!
Real estate is all about building and fostering relationships. This year we attended many real estate events such as RETech South, 4RealzEd, Unchained, Inman Connect, ReBarcamp SF & Houston, RIS Media, MLSLI Tech Fair, Carolina One and NAR 2008. Attending industry events like this, gives us a special opportunity to get face to face with our Trulia Voices community members and helps us connect with them on a more personal level. Triple Play 2008 was no different – a big success!

Some of our most active and Trulia Voices Community members were in attendance. Principal broker John Sacktig from Orange Key Realty in East Brunswick, New Jersey and team stopped by our booth. They shared some of their Trulia success stories with us and others at the booth – sweet! John knows how to best use Trulia
Chris Pagli, Rudy and Joann Daly from RE/MAX Platinum Properties
Christopher Pagli from Legends Realty Group in Westchester, New York also shared his success with Trulia. When I was talking with Chris, the booth was really getting swamped. As Apurva and I spoke to and helped other agents, Chris took it upon himself to share his tips and advice with other Trulia Voices and soon to be Trulia Voices– awesome!

Congrats to Carolyn McCloskey of C21 Alliance in West Chester for getting a new lead from Trulia on her Blackberry at the show – nice!
Welcome to Patti Mortara of RE/MAX Results Realty from Flemington, New Jersey for becoming a Trulia Pro!

Greg Afarian from Zipvo - loved our chat.
Fred Di Teco of North Jersey Media Group - Love the Shirt!
Virtually all agents who stopped by previously heard about Trulia and already had their listings on Trulia via their broker but were unaware of all the other benefits we offer. So we walked them through many of our sites FREE features, helped them create FREE Trulia profiles and shared tips on how to best use each one. For those who wanted more we highlighted the benefits of being a Trulia Pro and helped many new Trulia Pro’s get set up.

Apurva and I had to leave the show early on day 2 to head to San Francisco for meetings. Luckily, we had one of our most prolific and most well respected community members in attendance. Deborah Madey, Principal broker of Peninsula Realty Group in Rumson, New Jersey and two of her team members offered to hold down the fort in our absence. They helped other agents learn more about Trulia and shared their experience on Trulia. How amazing is that?

Deborah with Frances Pepe, Broker/Owner of Realty Executives in Boonton, New Jersey
We’re happy to have Deborah as part of our extended Trulia family – both online and offline ☺ Well done.
Many thanks to everyone else who we met at the show - happy holidays to all.
