But wait, doesn’t Trulia already have MLS partnerships?
Absolutely! Trulia partners with more than 15 MLSs from across the US - an important part of the 3.5 million listings on our site. What we’re doing now is building a new business unit, a group of dedicated individuals who will focus on building relationships with MLSs wanting to assure that their members’ listings are available and accurately represented to consumers searching for real estate online. One of our newest Trulians, Mark Weiss, is a tech marketing expert who is leading this initiative. He’s working closely with real estate industry veteran and Trulia consultant Lloyd Graves to make sure that MLSs are taking full advantage of the marketing opportunities on Trulia, including:
- Syndication of listings to Trulia.com, with 5 million unique monthly users and 250% annual traffic growth, at no cost
- Free consumer facing search functionality for MLSs and Association websites, as well as innovative website tools
- Valuable educational classes for agents in a variety of online marketing topics
