So, we’ve been nominated for a Webby award in the Real Estate category. Very cool.
But wait. What’s a Webby?
According to their website:
Webby Honorees, Nominees and Winners truly represent the best of the Web. They are but a small percentage of total entries and have been chosen by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences based on a number of creative and functional criteria.
Winning the Webby People’s Voice Award would be big time. It’s sort of like winning the People’s Choice Awards for the web…or even American Idol. We’re really pumped about the opportunity to win and we hope you are too.

I voted first thing this morning, did you post it on Facebook (course you did ) anyway that is where I saw it because digg notified me and I found you and then I let twitter know they best get over there and vote because Zillow was winning.

To make it easy for people to vote, Trulia is listed under ‘Service’, then ‘Real Estate’ - Don’t ask me but that Webby font and color is difficult to read. So I voted and commented.
Hope I get invited when Trulia won the award.

Congratulations. I was on another site recently and I noticed they had a blog saying that they were nominated as well. When I posted a comment to congratulate them I accidently wrote “Congratulations Trulia”, it really was a mistake and I can’t edit my post but it is a little funny now that I see you are nominated as well.
