Breaking news from the Prudential Real Estate Affiliates annual convention: Trulia and Prudential are working together to drive more traffic to prudential.com! All 140,000 Prudential residential real estate listings are now available on Trulia, appearing as “Featured Listings” in the top three results of relevant searches. Plus, the listings are branded with the Prudential logo. That’s huge news in itself - but wait, there’s more! Prudential Real Estate will also display nationwide banner advertisements on Trulia.com to promote the Prudential Real Estate brand even further. We couldn’t be more excited!

Laurie Keenan, president of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., had this to say about our new partnership: “It’s impressive that comScore results show Trulia as joining other established brand names online such as Realtor.com and Yahoo! Real Estate as a Top 10 real estate Web site. Trulia attracts millions of unique visitors each month to its site and it’s a great place to showcase our listings.” And this relationship helps provide the millions of consumers using Trulia an even better experience.

The Trulia booth has been non-stop action since sales affiliates were told about the deal on Monday morning during their kickoff general session. Seems like everyone is as thrilled about this as we are! It’s wonderful to be welcomed into the PREA family with open arms.

Congrats! But what does this mean for existing Featured Listings customers? I am an agent with Prudential Shimmering Sands and have had my litings on Trulia for a very long time. I have submitted them via rss/xml and I am a customer of the Featured Listings program. Now however my listings have been cannibalized or taken over and now point to another agents web site in our company.

    What happens now? Please advise.

    Hi Mike!

Thanks for the feedback. We caught the error and those with Featured Listings accounts will have their links restored.

    Best,

Sounds like a win-win for Prudential and Trulia! Is Prudential Carolina Real Estate included in this partnership? If so I’m not seeing our listings get the top three slots - or maybe I’m missing the Featured Listing area?

This interesting for Windermere agents. Just recently we were told we were going to have the top 3 spots..

    Hi Stephanie!

We’re making sure that all listings point directly to the source you selected prior to new Prudential feed going live. Just to be sure, you can log into your account and verify that the links are pointing to the correct source. If you want to change the link, just select “change” link and pick a different source.

    Thanks for your patience.

    Hi Geordie!

You’re right - Windermere also has Trulia Featured Listings (as do other companies and agents), placing their properties in the top 3 spots of relevant search results. However, there are enough spots to go around! Featured Listings rotate in the top positions, meaning that you each get your turn at the top of the page. As consumers focus their searches on the price range, numbers of bed/baths, etc. that’s right for them, the Featured Listings that fit their exact needs continue to rotate into the top spots. So even if you’re not in the top 3 spots for each and every search, Trulia Featured Listings gives you a great advantage to be seen first by those who are looking for exactly what you’re offering.

    Hope This helps.

I noticed the other day that my listings on Trulia had the Pru Logo on them. That was fast!

I just checked on one of my listings and it does not have the Prudential Logo by it. Is this a staggered roll out or does it not include Prudential Gary Greene?
