The Carnival of Real Estate turns 80 this week, and what better way to salute the octogenarian birthday than a tribute to one of the best/worst trends of the 80’s - Hair Metal aka Glam Rock? The Real Estate Tomato hosts this birthday bash, renamed The Hair Metal Awards, and it’s one of the most entertaining carnival themes to grace us in a long while - especially for those who can fondly yet embarrassingly recall those MTV-influenced days of big rock ballads and even bigger hair.
