Today we are proud to announce our new marketing partnership with Seattle-based Windermere Real Estate. Starting today, consumers can find 30,000 featured Windermere listings from over 290 offices on Trulia making us the exclusive national online real estate destination for Windermere real estate listings.
According to Mike Fanning, EVP at Windermere:
“Our mission is to give Windermere agents the ability to cast the widest net possible when it comes to exposing their clients’ listings to a national audience of serious home buyers. We chose Trulia as our first real estate online partner because it is the fastest-growing real estate Web site who puts our agents at the forefront of the sales cycle.”
Windermere has established itself as a leader in their markets. By prominently displaying their real estate agents and clients listings on Trulia, it will not only add to their local and national reach but increase their brand awareness. The more exposure listings have the easier it will be for consumers to find them; I’m sure all of Windermere’s home sellers will be very excited about this competitive advantage!
Here is an example of Kim Thomas’ listing on Trulia. Her listing is featured, and includes her photo, and a link to contact her directly. By clicking on the “Ask me about this home” button, house hunters can connect directly with Kim. Or, by clicking on the button: “See more photos & details”, consumers are taken directly to her detailed listing on the Windermere site.
Do you want to feature your listings on Trulia? Go ahead and do it now!
According to comScore, Trulia has been the fastest growing real estate site in the last 12 months. We have over 3.5 million unique monthly visitors and have experienced double-digit month-over-month growth. It’s a great place to market your clients listings, yourself and your business.

As a Windermere Realtor on Seattle’s Eastside, I am thrilled to see us join with Trulia. I heard Pete Flint speak at the last two Inman Real Estate Connect conferences and thought his style was a good match with Windermere. Kudos, also, for snagging Rudy Bachrahty (sp?) formerly of Sellsius for the Trulia blog. I’ve been reading the Sellsius blog for a long time and I know he will bring an interesting perspective to Trulia.

Hi Debra!
We’re really thrilled to have you and the rest of the Windermere family on board. 2008 will be great.
Pete’s a great leader and I’m happy to be a part of the team. By the way, I just added your blog to my feed reader - love your perspective.
All the best,
Rudy

I never thought our honorable Windermere would succomb to a 3rd party site beyond our existing teaming with Google… but here we are.
‘Looks good at first glance for the added National exposure - and one more opportunity to spend my hard earned marketing dollars

Since I can’t seem to get answer from consumer support, how about Rudy shoots me an email so we can sort out a nasty glitch. (Might be best to do it soon, before too many Windermere agents give up..)

Hi Geordie!
I just sent you an email. Lets get this issue resolved shall we?

As expected, Rudy comes to the rescue within the hour. (nothing like being outed on your own blog eh?)
It’s too bad the contact us / report a glitch system doesn’t work with the same efficiency, but I assume that this blog post will bring about some changes with that over time.

Hi Geordie!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We checked it out and the link works fine on the front end of the site and have added the link in “my listings” to our to-do list. Feedback from our community helps us address issues like this immediately. We are always listening. Thanks again Geordie.

All’s I can say is that, as usual, Keller Williams Realty paved this road that Windermere has finally decided to travel down. Best wishes to all!
