From the 65-million-dollar limestone-clad neoclassical villa in San Francisco, to the two-story, six-bedroom, five-bathroom fixer-upper in Detroit priced at $199,000, our list of top 10 “most viewed homes” in the latest Trulia Trends report proved that consumers of all budget sizes were house hunting in December.


The most expensive home to make our list was a 20,608 square foot home in the prestigious Pac Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. Listed at $65,000,000, this home boasts stunning views of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge, and includes a garden and guest house.

One of the more affordable California homes was the 3,187 square foot, four-bedroom, three-bath two-story home in Mountain House, listed at $399,000. This home comes with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a professionally landscaped backyard with automatic sprinkler system.

A stunning beachfront home in Old Orchard Beach, Maine was also among the most popular. Listed at $1,999,000 this five-bedroom, five-bathroom, 5,327-square-foot home is located near the Dunegrass Golf Club and Resort and faces 7 miles of golden sand.

And if you want to be by the water, but you don’t want to shell out the big bucks, check out the three-bedroom, two-bathroom pre-foreclosure home in Lake Mary, Florida. This 2,100 square foot home is located in a gated community and has an eat-in kitchen, formal living room and a pool, and it is priced at $340,000.
