Here at Trulia we’re obsessed with improving the house hunting experience. Today we rolled out some pretty cool improvements, complementing the many updates in recent months like changes to our property page and adding foreclosure properties to Trulia.
The highlights:
- Advanced Map Controls. You want to use the map to control what listings you see? Now you can! Just click the “See all homes in map view” button on the upper right. If you want to narrow your search to particular cities or neighborhoods, you can do that too.
- Multiple map sizes. We heard many of you wanted listings front and center, so we did it–we created a few different map sizes for your searching pleasure. Use the “expand map” link on the upper right to make it bigger, or “shrink map” link to make it smaller.
- More prominent email alert boxes. Want to know if new homes match your search criteria? Now it’s easier to sign up for an email alert or RSS feed.
- Speed and performance improvements. We’re constantly working on making the website faster and you should see some small, but noticeable improvements here.
These changes will make it easier for you to navigate the over 2 million homes for sale, millions of property records, recently sold homes and foreclosures on Trulia.
Stay tuned for more treats in the New Year!
