Build and Flip

Periodically I run across companies that I think are worth a mention, and Flippingpad is one of them.

When I was in middle school a very smart woman said something to me that I’ve never quite shaken from my curiosity: if you want to make bucks it’s in real estate investments.
This began my grand scheme toward achieving world domination: I would build and flip until I had enough cash to buy out an ad agency and reshape its direction. Yes ambitious, seriously naïve, but nonetheless I was one focused girl.

Unfortunately, I was never quite able to find that partner in crime. And while I have given up the world-domination-through-real-estate-scheme, I’m still on the search for people to co-invest, research and make my big bucks with. Admittedly they’ve been hard to find given my social network and I can’t imagine I’m alone.

Well, it seems that Flippingpad agrees with me. It has built a platform to help people like me find partners in crime, get feedback from knowledgeable sources about opportunities of interest, and very possibly find some great co-investors!

Certainly worth checking out!

One quick shout out — Patrick, one of Flippingpad’s founders, has been a really active member of the Trulia Voices community!

Given my specialty I can see I’m going to have to pay a visit. By the way, are you secretly The Brain from Pinky & The Brain? Please respond as I have been wondering where The Brain went to since the cartoon was cancelled.

I was introduced to Flippingpad a few weeks ago when they submitted their site to Posh’d. Of course, Posh’d showed them some love, and I quickly bookmarked them. FP is a great site!

Great site for everyone, there is nothing better than free advertising for serious Buyers and Sellers. Thanks.
