As Linda mentioned, it would be nice if you could include the map without the links back to the listing agents site, in the same way that IDX works.

Its the nature of Internet-based businesses to provide tools for free. It accomplishes many things including building brand recognition and the links back from each widget are pretty nice too.

We would like to learn a better way to get listings on to Trulia. It seems that most MLS systems have locked Trulia and others, even with the owners permission, from "scraping" the data to make it more accurate but...... http://www.missiongrove.com is where we would like to eventually add the search and map tools. Just need to wait and see how the data will get cleaned up at Trulia......Keep up the good work.

Like the map...needs a little more work but, what advancing technology dosent. For now, I will leave the map off of our site but, will keep checking back for updates. Mission Grove Realty would like to see a bit more progess made before subjecting clients to the kinks, dead links and out of date information sometimes found. Still a great work in progress. Aloong with Zillow and others, the concept is very good......just need to keep it clean and disguise the Prudential affiliation a little better. Dosent bother me much but, when others make the Trulia - Prudential connection, the audience could dwindle... Some abusers at Prudential already have bogus listings with photos of their beer drinking buddies and descriptions meant to poke fun at other agencies....NOT what anyone wants to see.

I agree with Linda - why would I want to list properties on my site which have
links back to trulia, which then refer back to the listing agents sites/contact info. Basically sending my lead elsewhere.

On the flipside, I have the ability to list my own properties, I want the dataset from Trulia

I want a service like: http://google.weblogsinc.com/2005/07/05/chicago-real-estate-in-google-earth/

Or better yet, something built on the foundations of GoogleBase

I feel you guys have great concepts, but little real world experience into our realm.

[...] As described on the Trulia Blog and The Future of Real Estate Marketing Blog, vertical real estate search site Trulia is making its maps with listings available for no cost to local brokers and realtors.
