If you asked me that question later this year, the answer would be yes. Today, in July, we are live in most of the largest states: California, New York, Florida, Texas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, Nevada, Ohio and Arizona. You might wonder why a search engine isn’t available in all markets simultaneously. From technical perspective it is, but given the local nuances in each market - such as Co-Ops and their market trends in New York - we spend considerable amount of time fine tuning and enhancing our end user experience and partner relationship before launching a new market.
In fact, we are obsessed with the user experience. Our goal is not to provide you with “search”, but the “best possible real estate search experience” anywhere on the web. This means accurate data, understanding local market nuances from neighborhoods to market pricing trends, as well as good relationships with the local brokerage firms.
So, thank you for your patience, emails and requests to open up more states. We have a big map on our office wall and are always excited to put up a new flag as a sign of an open state - there will be fifty of those flags by the end of this year!
